LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Urban Earthworks Landscape design covers an extensive range of services for a consultation fee including; Garden Consultations, Horticultural advice, Garden Design – conceptual or complete detailed plans with scale drawings, Garden Construction – pools, decks, outdoor structures, Plant sourcing & supply, Garden Furniture – advice, source and supply, 3D Drawings at concept stage to enable a better understanding of the proposed design.
GARDEN CONSULTATION
- Initial site assessment and client meeting 1 hour at the property with the designer or Jim, for developing ideas.
- After the initial consultation brief we will create a 1:100 scaled concept plan of the overall view of the garden. This will provide you with solutions suited to your lifestyle and your site – whether it is a new site or existing site.
- For this stage we will require details such as site plans, house floor plans and elevations. There may also be further information required depending on the requirements of the site, such as site measuring if any existing features that need to be taken into consideration are not detailed on your plans. In some instances site surveys may also be requested.
- The cost of the consultation will be factored into design post consultation if required.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN CONCEPT PLAN
The Design Concept is developed through initial Consultation with the designer Samantha. It is developed using 3D software and AutoCad with the final concept design to be provided as an A2 or A1 black and white paper print plus digital copy for further printing.
Process followed is:
- Draft Concept development & presentation to the client followed by further site visits / meetings where necessary to verify and finalise the design elements.
- Development of Perspective Drawings to allow a 3D view at key areas.
- Photos to show plants and materials will also be provided to give full view.
- Detailed elevation and plan drawings.
The final landscape design will be drawn 1:100 and coloured showing all the hardscaping elements such as paving, water features, pool, retaining walls, raised garden planters etc. A schedule of all the recommended hardscape materials and finishes will be provided.
